Quiz Night

We are delighted to inform members that our Quiz Nights have re-started, the first one of the new season was held on Friday 20 September. As before, our hosts are Andy and Emma. Andy used to startle us with his flashy, bright outfits but as you can see from the photo, he has moved on and who knows who we will see next month.

Folk can arrive around 6.30pm so that they have time to relax and make up a team. The quiz proper starts at 7.30pm with a rebus section followed by general knowledge and then the music quiz. We then have a rest when snacks are served before Andy host the Hi-Lo Card game where 3 lucky contestants have the chance to win the kitty which presently stands at over £300.

During all this time, Emma looks after the bar and and caters for your drink and nibble needs.

It’s a fun night. Members can bring as many family and friends as they like but please remember to sign in your guests.

The next quiz night takes place on Friday, 25 October and as Halloween is then only a few days away it would be great if everyone could come in fancy dress but you won’t be refused admission if this can’t be done.
