Ben Rhydding Golf Club presented a cheque with a year’s worth of fundraising money to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance on Sunday.
The club raised £3,150 in total through holding a variety of fundraising events including raffles and auctions.
The charity needs £7,200 per day to keep both Yorkshire Air Ambulances maintained and in the air and to continue providing its life saving services.
Club captain, Neville Beard, who also marked his last day in that role, said: “It is a very worthy cause. You just never know when you yourself may need their services.
“I’ve had a fantastic year as captain, it has been great fun.”
