Presentation Evening/Disco

On Friday 17th November 2017 we held our presentation evening in the clubhouse and it was great to see the room full with the prize winners and the members & guests who turned up for the disco which followed. Congratulations go to all who won over the season. A chilli & garlic bread supper was enjoyed by all who stayed for the Disco and special thanks go to my sisters Susan & Shirley plus Bryn for the catering. Also thanks go to Graham & all the members who helped with the bar during the night & Alvin for all his hard work for the presentation itself.

The Disco itself was brilliant, with DJ Andy Max doing his stuff to keep us all entertained. With a kind donation & money from ticket sales £226 was raised for my charities.

As my year as Captain is nearly over, a year which i have really enjoyed, special thanks go to everyone who have helped me raise over £3000 for charity.

I wish my golfing partner Bryn Robinson all the very best as he takes over the roll as Captain for 2018.

Here’s hoping we have more evenings like last Friday and get the clubhouse rocking.
