Victory for the Captains team.

On Sunday 20th of August the Captains V Presidents Rhyder Cup style golf day was held.

The competition consists of 9 holes Greensome, 9 holes Betterball & 9 holes of Singles with the winner of each match getting 2 points for their team,

and after a hard fought day the Captains team were victorious.

Thanks to all the members who took part, to my sisters Shirley & Susan for the wonderful Bacon sandwiches which we had after the 1st 9 holes, to Bryn for the

Hot Dogs after the final 9 holes and again Shirley for the buns she baked which quickly sold out. I can’t forget our President Geoff Stone who was gracious in defeat.

And my final thanks go to everyone who helped raise £120 for my charities.

Another wonderful day in my year as Captain of this great little club.
